1) Pakistan has been the third largest recipient of foreign aid in the world. And yet our people figure at the bottom of education, health and nutrition, productivity and other indices. 2) Pakistan's immediate problems include the huge gapof about $40 billion between imports ($64 billion) and exports ($24 billion). 3) Cost of doing business can be reduced by supplying cheap electricity to industries. This can be done by establishing new power plants that produce electricity at 5 cents per kilowatt hour and sell it to industrial states at 7 cents per kilowatt hour.
